(Paper submissions that arrive beyond the reading periods will be returned unread if accompanied with an SASE.)

To submit to mmm-submissions.org please observe the same length guidelines as for paper submissions, which are below:
UPDATED GUIDELINES FOR 2011: Please submit only one story or essay at a time, and only twice per calendar year. Please submit poetry, play or mixed genre submissions no more than twice per annual reading period. Submissions that exceed the limit or that arrive when we are not reading may be deleted or returned unread.
Unpublished fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and art .
Prose: 4,000 words maximum (roughly 16 pages). We prefer shorter stories.
Poems: only submit 3-5 poems at a time or 10 page max.
Sent with a self-addressed, stamped envelope with sufficient return postage for either reply or return or manuscript. Please mark on the return envelope if the SASE is for reply only.
Typed, double-spaced, one side only.
Simultaneous submissions are acceptable, but we ask that authors contact MMM promptly if a manuscript is accepted elsewhere.
Please submit poetry to the Poetry Editor, fiction to the Fiction Editor, and nonfiction to the Nonfiction Editor. Addressing your submission to the proper editor will expedite the review of your manuscript.
