MARC: Swell.
CYNTHIA: You’ve missed me since I’ve been away at school?
MARC: Sure.
(Awkward pause)
CYNTHIA: Are you dating anyone?
MARC: What?
CYNTHIA: Just checking in on you, Marc. Are you dating anyone?
MARC: No.
CYNTHIA: Are you lying to me?
MARC: It’s none of your business.
CYNTHIA: Who is she? Is she a total hottie? Is she a cheerleader?
MARC: No.
CYNTHIA: I thought you only dated cheerleaders. A short skirt kind of thing. Am I wrong?
MARC: Yes. You are wrong.
CYNTHIA: Well, I hope I get to meet her this weekend.
MARC: I need to get up. I’m feeling claustrophobic.
CYNTHIA: Oh, you’re starting to remember the game we used to play in the chair?
MARC: Cyn, I need to get up.
CYNTHIA: Of course you do. That’s what you used to tell me all of the time. Remember, you can’t get off Roller Coaster!!!
(Cynthia laughs hysterically at her announcement of their old game. She grabs the baseball bat and straps them both into the chair, using the bat as a safety bar would be used on a roller coaster. She is laughing hysterically.)
