It
generally takes 3-6 months, sometimes longer, for us to accept
or reject a submission. Because we are an all volunteer staff,
and because we receive sometimes hundreds of submissions each
month, it is not really feasible for us to track down answers
and respond to individual inquiries about the status of your
submission. It would actually take a lot of energy and time
away from reading the submissions. Please rest assured that
we all read the submissions with care and attention, and it
is a very labor-intensive task. Your patience with the process
is greatly appreciated.
If
your work is accepted elsewhere, we do keep a file of letters
and e-mails saying that work is being withdrawn because it has
been accepted elsewhere. Thanks.
